Pilots and students that use the Mentor can reduce the cost of their training by crediting the simulator time to the required flight time. For example:
- Prospective Instrument Pilots: can credit 20 simulator hours to the 40 required hours. Also, rated instrument pilots can use the Mentor simulator to maintain the required instrument currency and prepare for the Instrument Proficiency Check.
